Winnie's Guesthouse is an excellent bed and breakfast at a very reasonable price. Comfortable and friendly. Ph 25 215.
'Otuhaka Beach Resort is located on Tongatapu's western side and has fales set in open sandy coconut-palmed surroundings. Restaurant is good. A long wide sandy beach awaits you. Ph 41 599.
Villa McKenzie is one of the most comfortable places to stay in Nuku'alofa. The villa has double rooms, all with air-con. Ph 24 998.
Nerima Lodge is a clean and comfortable bed and breakfast. It's nicely furnished, reliable and secure. The Japanese meals are great! Ph 25 533.

Good Samaritan Inn - Friday night: buffet dinner and traditional dances. Also a very good place to stay. Ph 41 022.
Ofa Atu club (Papiloa's) - Friday night: buffet dinner and live music. Ph 23 810.
Recommended places for lunch
Akiko's - located under the basilica in Nuku'alofa. Very popular with great food. Ph 25 339.
Pot Luck Cafe - is a training restaurant located at the 'Ahopanilolo Technical College. Service is excellent and the food is very good. Ph 25 091.
Cafe Escape and Friend's Cafe are both excellent Cafes located in Nuku'alofa with fantastic food, great coffee and excellent company.
Recommended restaurants for dinner
Lunarossa at Anana.
Waterfront Cafe. Open, friendly, and relaxed, with excellent food and service. The bar is great and there's even a big screen. Ph 21 004.
