The septic is discharged at the new landfill septic beds, which have been designed especially for this purpose.
Three single units will be available in late September along with a protable hot-water shower unit which has been imported for hazardous spills. It can also be used for other purposes.
Green waste cannot be placed in the new landfill, so making an area for green waste dumping, and utilizing it as a base for composting and recycling of some of the wood waste, will offer residents of Tongatapu an alternative to burning their green waste, and a good supply of soil enriching compost for purchase.
Septic Pumping
All homes and commercial establishments dispose of their toilet waste through septic tank systems. We have two vacuum trucks which operate all over the island, pumping these tanks when required, as well as pumping portable toilets and other hazardous waste as required.
Portable restroom hire
We have two double units on trailers (with lighting for night-time use). These are flush-toilets and have a sink for hand-washing as well.
Green waste and composting facility
This is a new direction for the company, and is being developed because it has been documented that the amount of green waste entering the current rubbish dump is approximately 50% of the total rubbish entering the dump.
